Data Scientist - Energy Markets**.


Job Information:

Main Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develop and implement advanced predictive models and algorithms to forecast energy market trends and identify wholesale market peaks.
  • Work closely with the asset optimization team to create algorithms that enhance the performance and profitability of battery energy storage systems.
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that inform strategic decisionmaking.
  • Design and implement machine learning models to improve operational efficiencies and support the development of innovative energy solutions.
  • Communicate complex data science concepts and the outcomes of analyses to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Drive initiatives that contribute to the growth and success of Rodan Energy's advanced energy solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes that impact the energy market and data science field.

Requirements:


  • Demonstrated expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, and algorithm development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL or other applicable for big data analyses.
  • Familiarity with energy markets, demand response programs, different types of generation and battery energy storage systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and lead initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A Master's degree or Ph.
D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field is valuable but not mandatory
