Family owned and operated jobbing machine shop located in Surrey, BC is looking for machinist that are a good fit to our company.
We have been in business for more than 30 years.We service multiple industries including forestry, pulp and paper, aggregates, marine, oil and gas, mining, heavy industry, municipalities and infrastructure projects.

Strong experience working on Horizontal Boring Mills, Vertical Mills, and Lathes.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up, and run parts on Horizontal boring mills, verticle mills or lathes
- Operate manual milling equipment, such as drill press, key seater is an asset
- A comprehensive understanding of tool selection, speeds and feeds, working with various materials including castings, brass/copper, super alloys, aluminum and steel.
- Accurately read drawings and inspect work. Precise use of measuring equipment
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines when required
- Work well in a team environment, but can reliably work unsupervised
Qualifications:
- Red seal machinist or equivalent experience (2nd or 3rd year considered excluding top rate for experienced journeyman machinist )
- Good work history of reliability and dependability
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Stable and reliable work, we have NOT HAD A SINGLE LAY OFF SINCE 200
