Description

Pretty River Academy, a prestigious private school located in Collingwood, ON., is seeking to fill a position teaching Grade 9 Math MTH1W (to 9 students), and Grade 12 Data Management MDM4U (to 7 students).

The hours are from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m, Monday - Friday.

The classes are two 90-minute blocks, one 90-minute prep, and student one-on-one clinic time scheduled at the end of the school day.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Engage professionally with colleagues, families, and communities.
Demonstrate the planning and implementation of effective and responsive teaching and learning practices.
Provide evidence of how to shape a safe and positive learning environment for students and families.
Demonstrate a love of learning and an ability to build learner and leadership capacity.
Provide evidence and understanding of the impact of effective assessment practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Some teaching experience required
OCT preferred
