Day in the Life


As an Audit Supervisor, you will work with a wide range of clients from various industries, providing a personal approach to ensure excellent service.

Here's what you can expect to dig into in this exciting role:


  • Support with the daytoday operations of our audit department from reviewing file statements to ensuring major projects are running smoothly. There's always something to do
  • Lead the project management of audit engagements, overseeing timelines, deliverables, and team coordination to ensure successful project completion.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial statements, completed file sections, working papers, and tax returns to verify accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards, assurance standards and tax standards
  • Support in the training and mentoring of the audit team to ensure optimal productivity and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the audit team to crush engagement objectives ensuring quality deliverables and exceeding expectations along the way
  • Keep on top of accounting, assurance and tax standards You'll be the goto for technical knowledge and support which will help support the staff and attend to client inquiries.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships as you will be the point of contact; serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Identify systems and procedures within the audit department that could use some TLC and initiate any required improvement actions.

Your Qualifications

  • Possess your CPA designation and have 3+ years of audit experience under your belt.
  • Bachelor's degree degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (with a concentration in accounting), or any related field from an accredited postsecondary institution.
  • 34 years of audit experience working with public and private companies using the applicable accounting standards (I.e., ASPE or IFRS)
  • An expert in audit and assurance engagements.
  • Organized and collaborative contributor to thrive in a fastpaced work environment.
  • Outstanding time management and adaptability to manage competing priorities.
  • You're selfdriven with an analytical ability to deliver highquality audit working papers.
  • Effective leader with a passion for growth in a public firm.
  • A unique ability to easily connect with others and work with diverse personalities.
  • Technically versed in systems such as CaseWare, Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Microsoft Teams, and QuickBooks (Online or Desktop).

Salary:
$70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
