Novella Wealth is a financial brokerage located in Richmond, BC. We are looking for a temporary, full-time Associate Assistant to join our Operations team.

Salary:
$40,000 - $42,500 (based on experience)


Hours:


Enhance the associate's effectiveness by developing client information, processing documentations, and organizing notes and actions; handles time-sensitive items and transactions; strong multi-tasking ability and organizational skills; sales tracking and report production; front desk receptionist coverage when needed; supports the Operations Supervisor with maximizing profits by adhering to SOP business processes.


Job Duties:


  • Provide day to day administrative support in the areas of insurance and investments.
  • Act as liaison between clients, advisors, MGAs, carriers, and other financial institutions.
  • Establish and organize client files; maintain filing system for recordkeeping; maintain log of all transactions; document actions.
  • Monitor calendars and appointment bookings; schedule meetings with multiple parties involved.
  • Data entry; filing information into database and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with accuracy and completeness.
  • Professional communication (verbal and written) to make progress on pending business and upkeep of existing business with business providers and advisors.
  • Document preparation with accuracy and completeness; handle timesensitive items.
  • Process account transactions and account openings with confidential client information.
  • Followup on transactions to ensure proper facilitation; review pending business transactions.
  • Track business production; other data report generation when necessary.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and trainings.
  • Front desk receptionist lunch break and vacation coverage.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Administrative Assistant experience, minimum 1 year; experience in Finance is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organization, planning, scheduling, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as within a team.
  • Excellent computer literacy, especially MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent research, problemsolving, and business administration skills.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese.
  • Licensed with LLQP or willingness to complete is an asset.
  • Friendly and reliable; able to work cooperatively with other staff and advisors.
  • Thorough and detailoriented; excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask; can change priorities midstream, as required.
  • Passionate about the work they perform; exhibits a professional attitude with a commitment to quality work.
  • Driven by collective success; understanding the power of an inclusive team that works together to bring a shared vision to reality.
  • Empathic; listens and learns from the experiences of other and understands different perspectives.
