Kamloops - Maintenance Person
The position will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating the maintenance around the facility. This applies to mechanical maintenance and building maintenance. This is a hands-on position with the need coordinate sub contractors and shut downs when required.

We supply new parts, refurbishments, and custom manufacturing; directly for operations and working as a manufacturer for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) in the production of mineral process equipment.
Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Track and log maintain records.
- Organize maintenance service and inspections and assign duties to maintain plant operations.
- Plan maintenance work and complete quickly with mínimal impact to plant operations.
- Has the ability to help develop and problem solve department specific procedures and maintenance schedules, service, and inspections.
- Can assemble complex equipment while following manufacturers specifications and or work orders and drawings.
- Has the ability to identify. Diagnose and resolve maintenance specific problems.
- Schedule maintenance and inspections of equipment, chains, slings, fall protection, fire extinguishers, racking, cranes, scissor lift, genie lift, boilers, autoclaves, scissor tables etc.
- Maintain maintenance area as well as yard storage and organization as applicable.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontract repair work.
Job Requirements:
- Accredited Post Secondary Education or demonstrated experience in a similar role 5+ years experience
- Ability to think proactively and critically and look for opportunities for improving processes
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office products
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments.
- This is a working supervisor position so hand on work and supervision of others will be required.
Compensation:
PRI offers a competitive compensation package that is a combination of hourly wage and overtime. Benefits include group extended health and dental benefits and group RRSP plan as per the union collective agreement.
