IT Administrator - Toronto, Canada - Spirit of Math Schools Inc.
Description
Working in the IT department, the IT Administrator is responsible for all aspects of IT administration and second tier end-user support.
The incumbent will setup, configure, and provide day-to-day management of Microsoft 365 services, Azure services, end points (Windows 10/11, Android, iPhones, iPads), networking, Windows servers, and storage services.
Education and Licenses:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or mathematics (Statistics), OR High school diploma with equivalent technical and help desk experience.
- Valid "G" drivers license required and use of vehicle preferred.
- CompTIA A+ certification or demonstrates the knowledge within this certification.
- CompTIA Network+ certification or demonstrates the knowledge within this certification.
- Microsoft MS900 certification or demonstrates the knowledge within this certification.
- CompTIA Security+ certification or within 3 months of starting this position.
- Microsoft MD102 certification or within 6 months of starting this position.
- Microsoft SC300 certification or within 6 months of starting this position.
- Microsoft MS102 certification or within 12 months of starting this position.
- Microsoft AZ104 certification or within 12 months of starting this position.
- Strong ability to quickly learn new technologies and SaaS platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills, responsive attitude.
- Technical Writing and documentation
- Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 1
- Microsoft Office Apps, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- Laptop and workstation physical setup and wiring, including setting up multiple monitors and docking stations.
- Mobile phones and tablet setup, configuration, and troubleshooting, include Android, iPhone, and iPads.
- Printer setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Networking and WIFI fundamentals
- Cabling and related best practice including physical safety consideration.
- Microsoft administration for: 365, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Intune, PowerShell, Server and Hyper-V, Dynamics, Azure, Purview, Defender, Power Automate,
- Advance networking design, configuration, and management (vlan, firewall, log configuration,
Key Responsibilities:
IT Administrations
- Follows cybersecurity guideline established within the company for all daytoday IT administration
- Manage and maintain user identity and data access
- Manage and maintain internet access, office networking, and wireless access points
- Manage and maintain printing system
- Manage and maintain corporate issued end points (Windows 10, Windows 11, Android, iPhone, iPad, etc.)
- Manage and maintain cloud and inhouse servers and devices
- Responsible for head office and all campuses
- Coordinate with vendors to complete any task assigned
- Develop and maintain clear and accurate documentation
- Manage and respond to IT tickets raised by staff and occasionally by students
- Provide user training when required, such as during staff onboarding and when we introduce a new system
- Support for any technical needs during a company event
