A career as a Business Analyst at National Bank means supporting projects with process mapping activities, carrying out various analyses (processes, data, impact, risks, issues) and informing stakeholders about the change management efforts required.

Your role
- Support consumers' projects by understanding their business issues and identifying their data needs.
- Provide all the information required to understand, interpret and influence orientations and practices with respect to the client and employee experience and source system data interpretation and integration.
- Work closely with different IT teams and business lines.
- Respond to complex requests from stakeholders, provide solutions and ensure satisfaction by delivering quality services.
- Help define the client and employee experience and integrate complex IT systems.
- Carry out feasibility studies, define the scope of projects to prioritize deliverables and negotiate product features.
- Diagnose problem situations and help resolve issues by implementing permanent corrective measures to ensure continuous improvement.
- Review and correct requirements, specifications, operational processes and recommendations related to the proposed solution.
- Understand the business processes of the various projects assigned to you and document their business needs and processes.
- Analyze the data needs of different projects.
- Help ensure that solutions and elements of IT architecture and functional analysis are in line with our business principles.
- Suggest alternative integration solutions.
- Support projects with process mapping activities.
- Perform various types of analyses (processes, data, impacts, risks, issues).
- Help projects draw up strategies and final acceptance test plans.

Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience OR master's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Experience with largescale programs
- Experience with regulatory projects
- Experience conducting workshops
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry, an asset
- Knowledge of RESTful (JSON) and API services, an asset
- Knowledge of UML modelling, an asset
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
- Knowledge of master data management, an asset
- Strong sense of autonomy and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Curiosity, flexibility and openmindedness
