- Aiding Structural Engineers in the design/ analysis of new, renovated, and rehabilitated building structures from the conceptual stage through to construction administration.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Demonstrated skill at organizing and planning work within tight deadlines.
- Detailed attention to requirements and ensuring quality work.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and common sense at work.
- The ability to work independently and maintain productivity unsupervised.
- The discipline to maintain required safe work procedures in any environment.
- Experienced at working well in a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Current Driver's license is required.
- Familiarity with the National and Ontario Building Codes, CAN/CSA S16, A23.3, O86, S304 and other design guides is an asset
- A working knowledge of Structural Engineering Analysis/ Design Software such as: ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, RAM, S-Frame and WoodWorks is an asset.
Education and Experience
- Working toward a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering.
