What you'll be doing
:


Reporting to the Program Manager, Deployments, the Deployment Coordinator, Electrification Deployments is responsible for working collaboratively with Electrification Deployment Manager(s) to coordinate activities required to Electrify Transit systems across the province, ensuring completion of the deployment plan schedule and scope.

Supporting one or more Deployment Managers, the Deployment Coordinator will perform tasks that range in complexity, including schedule and risk management, maintaining Deployment documentation, and reporting, task administration, and deployment status updates.

What you'll bring to the table
:

We value lifelong learners and have found that a mix of any of the following credentials have set people up for success in this role in the past:

  • Post secondary diploma in business, engineering or architecture, or educational.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) designation preferred
  • Three years related experience assisting complex construction or transportation projects is required.
  • Past experience or knowledge of electrification/low carbon or zero emission projects and deployment is an asset.
  • Past experience or knowledge in a wider variety of disciplines, that include construction, fleet transport, operations, planning and IT, for large broad projects is an asset.
  • Experience coordinating projects which interface with many parts of the larger organization.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Ability to travel on occasion as needed
