Reporting to the Manager, Procurement and Transformation, the incumbent is responsible for the inventories of the various stations, the distribution center and the head office.

In addition, the incumbent ensures the optimal execution of distribution and transportation operations, while meeting the service standards of internal and external customers.

In addition, the incumbent ensures that the distribution and transportation operations respect our capacities and that the operational fluidity supports our performance indicators.


Responsibilities:


  • Inventory_
  • Build a required inventory list per station across the network,
  • Conduct a physical count at stations across the country,
  • Implement an inventory management system,
  • Repatriate inventory to strategic points,
  • Manage the inventory at the station,
  • Control of inventories,
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and support inventory control activities,
  • Organize inventory receiving, storage and counting activities,
  • Optimizes inventory space,
  • Verify the security of assets on station throughout the network,
  • Raise issues of loss and misuse at the station,
  • Establish a procedure to improve the management and use of station assets,
  • Verify station repairs and maintenance needs,
  • Support conveyor maintenance in partnership with stations, facilities management and suppliers,
  • Ability to understand operational needs and ensure proper execution of processes,
  • Ensures constant communication with external sites and supports them in resolving issues.
  • Facilities_
  • Maintain good rapport with internal and external parties at various facilities
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Processing and Supply Management to improve the service request process
  • Closely follow up on interventions and their completion
  • Standardize requests
  • Manage and follow the evolution of the facilities team
Desired qualifications

  • College diploma or Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics or operations,
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position,
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (speaking french is an asset),
  • Rigor, autonomy, interpersonal skills, teamwork, excellent communicator and resourceful,
  • Knowledge of specific station facilities as well as company operations and procedures,
  • Ability to identify opportunities and propose short/medium and long term solutions,
  • Excellent analytical, influencing and negotiating skills,
  • Great ability to adapt and work in a team,
  • Quick decision making.
