Description
The Cook prepares and cooks food, under the guidance of the Executive Chef.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Prepares and cooks all meals according to Executive Chef's direction
Follows all food handling, health and safety regulations
Controls waste of food
Works swiftly and safely to deliver quick client service
Maintains prep and storage areas in a clean, tidy and safe manner
Keep records of quantities used and assists with food and supplies ordering
Ensures proper rotation of perishable stocks
Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements

High school diploma
Culinary school graduate
3-5 years previous experience, excelling in a team environment
Will be able to work morning and day shifts, including weekends
Must be enthusiastic about producing good food and kitchen culture


The measures of success:

Contribution to financial objectives
Individual objectives linked to the achievement of department goals
Feedback from internal and external clients
