The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Shop Assistant and Delivery Driver to join our team.
In this dual role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store and efficient delivery of online orders.
As a Retail Shop Assistant, you will assist with order building and packing, maintaining store cleanliness, organizing the stock room, and providing excellent customer service.
Additionally, you will also be responsible for timely and accurate delivery of orders to customers. This position offers an opportunity to gain exposure to various products and develop valuable retail and delivery skills.Responsibilities can include:
- Build positive community relationships by being a charismatic brand ambassador while working (within and outside the walls of the store).
- Help us create a positive, vibrant, and efficient instore experience.
- Continuous education and having a full understanding of our assortment.
- Adhering to regulations, compliance, standards, and best practices.
- Assist in building and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that items are properly labeled and packaged for delivery or pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment by regularly cleaning and tidying shelves, displays, and sale counter.
- Stock and replenish merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring products are neatly displayed and easily accessible.
- Receive and process deliveries, checking for accuracy and verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain the stock room, ensuring items are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible when needed.
- Assist customers with inquiries, provide product information, and directing guests to available supervisors.
- Act as a delivery driver, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of orders to customers while adhering to traffic laws and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries by following standard operating procedures for running deliveries and utilizing the On-Fleet App.
- Provide support to the sales team to help facilitate efficient service.
- Maintain the integrity of the location, assuring safety and cleanliness are top of mind.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Responsible and reliable.
- Personal vehicle in reliable working order with valid insurance.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members in a friendly and professional manner.
- Detailoriented mindset to ensure accuracy in order building, stock management, and customer transactions.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities and customer demands.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the store's schedule.
- Completion of Cannsell certification upon offer
- Successful completion of a criminal background check from the past 3 months
- Must be a minimum age of 19 years old

Additional compensation - $0.59 Per KM for deliveries
