Qualifications:

Knowledge acquired through the successful completion of a recognized PSW program that meets the current standards of the Ontario Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care Act.
Working knowledge of Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) Behavioral Support Ontario (BSO) and a minimum of one year experience in palliative.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Current CPR.
Ability to understand, interpret, and carry out written and verbal instructions.
Ability to set priorities.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team.
Demonstrates the organization's values of Honesty, Accountability, Respect & Teamwork.
Ability to perform duties and provide care in a manner that supports and complies with the Resident's Bill of Rights.
