Description
We are looking for a seasonal warehouse worker who is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience.

The position is open to qualified individuals looking for seasonal work during the period of May to October with some flexibility on start and end dates of the term.


A Veseris Employee is:

A Veseris Warehouse Workers Responsibilities:


  • Perform warehouse activities, picking & packing orders, shipping & receiving to meet customer order demands.
  • Responsible for ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and timely manner.
  • Correct and/or report any unsafe conditions or hazards immediately and work towards goal of "zero" injuries and incidents.
  • Participate in cycle counts as directed.
  • Ensure that the storage areas and warehouse is kept clean and tidy, which includes identifying areas where processes could be improved, and work practices amended.
  • Provides services for the prompt and accurate filling, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
  • Provides for the efficient receiving, marking, and stocking of merchandise; ensures the maintenance and protection of warehouse stocks, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensures compliance with all labeling and shipping laws and regulations on merchandise shipped from warehouse.

Requirements:


  • Must be able to work under Company policies where experience and independent judgment are needed.
  • Should be familiar with the office workflow, operations of each department, particular products and their handling problems, and knowledge of all
    departments within the warehouse.
  • Must be able to work with others.
  • Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment.
  • High School Diploma, or GED with additional schooling or equivalent business experience.
  • Ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English
  • Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training.
  • The physical ability to lift and carry at least 60 lb. net bags for short distances.
  • The physical ability to tilt back or break 400 lb. net drums onto a dolly.
  • The physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Exposure to fumes, dirt, noise and hazardous chemicals on a daily basis. May require safety equipment and/or precautions.
