The role of the Housekeeping Team Member is to ensure that the hotel rooms, common areas, and equipment are clean and in good working order.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning of hotel rooms, common areas, hallways, and other designated areas to established standards.
- Change bedding and towels in hotel rooms and suites.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, toilets, sinks, and showers.
- Ensure cleaning products are used safely and in accordance with hotel standards.
- Clean windows and mirrors in hotel rooms and common areas.
- Empty trash cans and ensure waste is disposed of appropriately.
- Report necessary repairs and replacements to the Head Housekeeper.
- Adhere to hotel safety policies and emergency procedures.
- Adhere to deadlines for cleaning work.
Skills:
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and products.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team or independently.
- Attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
- Good physical condition to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma (DES) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of English is an asset.
