Job Description:
Traction team members take pride in providing excellent customer service and ability to perform heavy Vehicle Mechanical Repairs. They offer advice, support our operations, and allow us to provide our customers with everything they need.

In this key role, you will:
As a
Truck & Coach Technician / Apprentice, you are an integral member of our team.
You will be responsible for maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and tankers, troubleshooting and diagnosing defects, and offer top-quality performance in a safe and professional manner.
Looking for experienced technicians who:
- 310T Licensed Truck & Coach Mechanic or enrolled in a current Apprentice program.
- Experienced in mechanical, welding, and electrical repair.
- Can demonstrate exceptional customer service through quality work
- Responsible for diagnosing the source of any malfunctions and performing required repairs
- Able to complete repair order annotation accurately and completely on each job
- Examine vehicles to determine additional safety or service requirements
- Perform brake, safety, and PM inspections
- Perform road tests and safety inspections
- Review and complete work orders
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations in the workplace
- Maintain required tools for the role
Qualifications:
To join our team, you need:
- Have a valid Driver's License and in good standing
- 310T Truck & Coach Licence in good standing with OCOT
- Or Minimum 2 years as an Apprentice (enrolled in Ontario's Apprenticeship Program with OCOT)
- Knowledge of electrical / mechanical repairs
- Attention to detail
- Work well under pressure
- Basic computer skills
