Housekeeper/ Residential Cleaner Needed - Toronto, Canada - Aide Sense

Housekeeper Job Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces.
• Vacuum rugs, spot clean daily and shampoo when directed rugs. Clean and dust furniture, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all other horizontal surfaces including periodic high dusting.
• Wash windowsills; glass in interior doors, partitions, and specified windows.
• Clean bathrooms by cleaning the bathtub, glass shower door, emptying waste baskets, service soap and toilet paper dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, sweep/mop/scrub floors, etc.
• Monitors possible defects such as clogged sinks and lights out, and reports to the client.
• Collecting trash and disposing of it according to client specifications
• Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways at building entrances and connect walkways/sidewalks as directed.
• Performs routine work: High dusting, leather and wood surface, polishing, wall washing.

Hours may fluctuate, so we will require maximum flexibility throughout the week. This includes all days of the week including holidays.

Housekeeper Requirements:

• Vulnerable Sector Screening certification from the Toronto police
• Drivers license, and personal vehicle (gas costs will be reimbursed)
• At least, one year's experience in cleaning duties
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to understand the use of various cleaning detergents and equipment (e.g. vacuum, electric mop).
• Fluency in English
• Two does of the vaccine (an additional booster shot is preferred)
• Background checks with previous employers, references, law enforcement agencies, and others will be conducted

WAGE:
starting at $16 per hour depending on experience

Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
