Project Assistant - Children's Activities
(Full-time Contract from June 19, 2023 to August 11, 2023)

Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS) is a national non-profit organization, based in the Greater Toronto Area.

Newcomers need linguistically-appropriate assistance and culturally-sensitive support and CCS delivers programs and services in thirty languages to address these gaps, assisting clients to confidently navigate the labour market, school and health care systems.

What you'll get to do:

Design skills enhancement such as reading, coding, arts and crafts activities
Plan, develop and deliver online summer learning activities for children
Outreach for program participants
Intake, screening and registration
Support children learning through group facilitation and coaching
Gather and analyze evaluations and feedback
Create and maintain closing reports and weekly reports

What you need to know/have:

Postsecondary education social service worker, social work, community social worker, psychology, and/or gerontology
Knowledge in MS Office, experience in coding, digital platforms, including social media
Ability to work with various levels of children learners in a virtual environment
Good English language communication skills, both written and verbal
Flexible and adaptable working within diverse populations

Location:
Brampton

Hours: 35 per week

Compensation:
$15.50 per hour
