Seeking a Payroll/HR Administrator that is experienced in managing payroll and providing HR administrative support.

How you help the team:


  • Maintain accurate, uptodate, and complete personnel records
  • Monitor human resources related documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance to business processes
  • Advise employees and managers on the interpretation of human resources policies, compensation and benefit programs
  • Process biweekly payroll for all salaried and hourly employees, as well as bonus payments
  • Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance and other deductions
  • Reconcile payroll totals and ensure all deductions and health benefit plans are made as scheduled
  • Ensure accurate processing of sick pay, benefits and vacation payouts
  • Respond to employee and government agency inquiries in regard to payroll

Those that will have the most success in the position have the following:

  • PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) required
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CPHR) preferred
  • Three years of related experience
  • Experience in payroll software, ideally Payworks
  • Ability to read and interpret legislation
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Knowledge of and exposure to a range of human resources activities, including some of the following: recruitment, orientation, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, and employee communications
  • Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive or private information with tact and discretion
