About the Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a
Housekeeping Attendant, reporting to the Manager of Materials Management, Environmental, and Linen Services, the incumbent is responsible for performing cleaning operations.

Hours of work are 8hour shifts, 7am3pm and 3pm11pm, including weekends and occasional callins for 11pm7am.

More About You:

To qualify for the role, you will must have successfully completed Grade 12 or equivalent.

You will also need to have:

Working knowledge and experience in handling hazardous chemicals and materials;
Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and independently as needed;
Ability to perform the physical aspects and responsibilities of the position;
Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills;
Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references;
Previous experience in an institutional or commercial housekeeping environment is an asset;
Demonstrated working knowledge of and experience operating housekeeping equipment is an asset.
