POSTING FOR A 12-MONTH LIMITED TERM FACULTY POSITION IN ACCOUNTING
The _School of Business Administration_ in the_ Faculty of Management _at Laurentian University invites
6 course (18 credits) workload at the rank of Assistant Professor with specialization in Accounting_._ The
teaching language for the position is French. The ability to teach in the other official language of the
University, English, is considered an asset. The preferred start date is August 1st, 2023 and the end date
is July 31st, 202- A degree in _Accounting _or related field;

  • Have active knowledge of both official languages (functional bilingualism); consideration of
receptive bilingualism (passive comprehension of the French/English language) will be given in
exceptional cases;

The School of Business Administration (SBA) is part of the Faculty of Management. The School offers
the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA 4 years),

_)_, the Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a number of professional
development programs. The Faculty of Management also includes the School of Sports Administration
(SPAD), which offers the Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Sports Administration (HB Com SPAD).
Students benefit from small class sizes, essential for a collaborative style of learning, group work and a
case-oriented teaching methodology. The BBA and MBA degrees are also offered online to a diverse
population of learners. The Faculty of Management maintains numerous articulation agreements with
Ontario colleges, with top tier universities in China offering opportunities for teaching abroad and
research collaborations, as well as student exchange agreements with a broad range of universities
globally. We expect faculty members to engage in supporting the Assurance of Learning process and the
Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) objectives.
Laurentian University, located on Atikameksheng Anishnawbek territory in Sudbury, Ontario, serves
