This position is responsible for conducting audits and other compliance initiatives under and supporting administration of one or more branch tax or credit programs under provincial legislation.


Job Requirements:


  • Diploma in a related accounting/finance or business field, plus two years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Preparing, auditing, or reviewing and analyzing financial statements or tax returns, or budget preparation and analysis.
  • Additional years of related experience.
  • Enrolment in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) or completion of at least 10 of the 14 prerequisite courses of the CPA Preparatory courses (PREP) and actively pursuing the CPA designation.
  • An undergraduate in any area of study
  • Completion of the Financial Management Certificate Program or completion of 5 prerequisite courses of the Advanced Certificate in Accounting and Finance.
  • Experience in tax administration.
