ROLE SUMMARY:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
People Resource Centre- Primary point-person for People Resource Centre inbox, which monitors benefit, P&C and Workday inquiries from all levels and area of the business. Educate and help employees/Managers utilize P&C tools such as Workday to seamlessly execute on all people processes.- Partner with P&C SMEs to escalate inquiries to appropriate teams in order to provide accurate information and exceptional customer service on behalf of the P&C functional area.- Manage SLA response times for all inquiries to the People Resource Centre inbox and ensure an exceptional employee experience.


HR Operations- Execute P&C processes and reporting by running daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports from Workday on processes including Onboarding, open business processes in Workday, tracking service dates, 0 hours reporting, and contract expirations.- Act as a tester in Workday for all configuration changes or new process launches in Workday.

Ensure functionality, user accessibility, and process execution.- Assist leaders with resources that educate, support, and facilitate change management within their area, referencing Organizational Change Management templates, tools and guides.- Active participant in the People & Culture Business Partner team, with exposure to employee conflict mediation and employee misconduct issues, that have legal and compliance implications.


Hourly Recruitment- Reporting on recruitment trends and impacts, including voluntary and involuntary turnover rates, time to fill, and source of hire.- Manage employment letter database of letter templates and clauses.

Create letters that are not within standard process in Workday and execute with the Business Partner where required.

Administration & Process Support- Advise employees, managers and the business on P&C policies, benefits and collective agreement administration, and a variety of other internal information based on inquiries to the People & Culture department.- Maintain accurate employee records in Workday and makes updates accordingly and as directed.

Ensures confidentiality of information and materials is maintained.- Respond to and administers employee employment verification requests.- Coordinate outplacement services as required.- Support P&C communications and presentations.- Support administrative activities related to P&C programs to support business leaders in effectively navigating HR systems, tools and programs.- Participate as required in bi-annual Workday Release process.- Conduct audits of employee data to ensure accuracy and integrity is maintained.


WHAT YOU BRING:

  • College diploma in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and processes 13 years in a similar capacity
  • Experience with cloud based HCM Software, asset: Workday experience.
  • Bilingual (French & English) is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Professional, mature, and service oriented.
  • Strong technical and analytical, as well as problem solving skills to ensure appropriate responses and data integrity.
  • Able to work independently, while functioning as part of a team and prioritize as needed.

Compensation:
Budgeted Range - ($58,281 - $ The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
