Description

Reporting directly to the Studio Resources Manager, the incumbent coordinates the life model team of approximately 35+ models, ensuring staff are scheduled appropriately for the 100+ weekly classes and sessions, as well as preparing and coordinating curriculum required assets such as costumes.

In addition, the incumbent assists the Draw Paint Studio team in providing a clean, safe working environment for our models.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Gathering curriculum needs for faculty and course outlines; synthesizing data to develop scheduling priorities across the Draw Paint Studio Model sessions;
  • Composing the schedule of model assignments; scheduling over 100 modeling sessions per week; filling cancellations as required;
  • Organizing and preparing the costumes and associated props for use in the Drawing and Painting Studios, in accordance with the weekly schedules and faculty requests (with occasional short turnaround times);
  • Providing inperson support to models for quick changes into elaborate costumes;
  • Regularly communicating with Draw Paint studio team (including faculty), regarding costumes and related studio setup requirements, and any issues and challenges that may arise;
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

  • Completion of 4year degree in a related field, along with 4 years experience in Fine Arts, Arts Management or Theatre (equivalency will be considered);
  • Experience in drawing painting studio environment is preferred;
  • Experience in an environment working with life models is preferred;
  • Experience in costume design is an asset.

Trafalgar (may be assigned activities at any Sheridan campus). This position is currently working on-site.
