Dimensions Centre Inc. is a recently established clinic located in Kanata, Ontario.

Specializing in neurodiversities, mental health, pediatrics, and caregiver support, our clinic is proud to be neurodiversity-affirming, providing a wide range of services such as health services, psychotherapy, mental health counseling, respite, tutoring, group therapy, and education programs.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the intake process for new and returning clients
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients, addressing basic questions and concerns
  • Ensure that rooms are clean and prepared with the appropriate resources for the next client(s)
  • Assist clinicians in administering assessment tools and screenings to patients
  • Designing educational material for social skills courses
  • Developing and implementing new workshops and services for the clinic based on the needs of clients
  • Implement data collection methods to track program outcomes, client progress, and overall program effectiveness.
  • Allocate and manage resources efficiently, including staff, budget, and materials, to ensure the smooth functioning of mental health programs.
  • And any other clinical tasks as seen necessary

Qualifications:

  • A Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Experience working with children in a clinical setting (asset)
  • Bilingualism French/English (preferred)
  • Post secondary education in psychology, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, or related field.

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kanata, ON K2K 3B8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
  • This job is contingent on the approval and acceptance of the Canada Summer Jobs program
