Specializing in neurodiversities, mental health, pediatrics, and caregiver support, our clinic is proud to be neurodiversity-affirming, providing a wide range of services such as health services, psychotherapy, mental health counseling, respite, tutoring, group therapy, and education programs.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Oversee the intake process for new and returning clients
Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients, addressing basic questions and concerns
Ensure that rooms are clean and prepared with the appropriate resources for the next client(s)
Assist clinicians in administering assessment tools and screenings to patients
Designing educational material for social skills courses
Developing and implementing new workshops and services for the clinic based on the needs of clients
Implement data collection methods to track program outcomes, client progress, and overall program effectiveness.
Allocate and manage resources efficiently, including staff, budget, and materials, to ensure the smooth functioning of mental health programs.
And any other clinical tasks as seen necessary

Qualifications:

A Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Experience working with children in a clinical setting (asset)
Bilingualism French/English (preferred)
Post secondary education in psychology, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, or related field.

Schedule:

Day shift
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

Kanata, ON K2K 3B8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
