Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Provides support to the Maintenance Department and Technicians (e.g. vehicle washing, vehicle or facility cleaning, vehicle fueling, facility maintenance and repair etc.) in accordance with established schedules
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment and brings any unsafe practices or conditions to the attention of supervisor
  • Records time and materials used for each assignment.
  • Ensure that safety inspections are in compliance with regulatory requirements and within Maintain Shop process
  • Ensure diagnosis and repairs are conducted
  • Maintain vehicles by performing regular preventative maintenance in accordance with corporate guidelines
  • Ensure that apprentice mechanics are trained and have their work approved in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Interact regularly with drivers regarding vehicle maintenance
  • Provides automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned

Qualifications- Work as a strong team player in a fast-paced environment- Communicates effectively with a diverse driver pool- Ideally have previous fleet experience and are familiar with diesel and gasoline systems- Ability to follow direction and adhere to policies and procedures- Must have excellent communication skills
