Duties & Responsibilities:

Provides support to the Maintenance Department and Technicians (e.g. vehicle washing, vehicle or facility cleaning, vehicle fueling, facility maintenance and repair etc.) in accordance with established schedules
Maintains a clean and safe work environment and brings any unsafe practices or conditions to the attention of supervisor
Records time and materials used for each assignment.
Ensure that safety inspections are in compliance with regulatory requirements and within Maintain Shop process
Ensure diagnosis and repairs are conducted
Maintain vehicles by performing regular preventative maintenance in accordance with corporate guidelines
Ensure that apprentice mechanics are trained and have their work approved in accordance with regulatory requirements
Interact regularly with drivers regarding vehicle maintenance
Provides automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned

Qualifications- Work as a strong team player in a fast-paced environment- Communicates effectively with a diverse driver pool- Ideally have previous fleet experience and are familiar with diesel and gasoline systems- Ability to follow direction and adhere to policies and procedures- Must have excellent communication skills
