We are currently looking for a
General Foreman to help us with building construction in Southern Saskatchewan.

Job Title:
General Foreman

Job Summary:

Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of trades-craft persons who Construct, Renovate, and Maintain structures of building materials, and build, and install interior finishing in Residential, Commercial, and Industrial buildings; Establish methods to meet work schedules, and coordinate work activities with other departments.

Working in Southern Saskatchewan near Estevan, on 10 day on and 4 day off rotation. Project duration is approximately three (3) months with the possibility of extension. Living out Allowance (LOA) and Travel to be confirmed nearer the start date of late September.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Prepare production and reports.
Supervise workers and projects.
Coordinate and schedule activities.
Oversee apprenticeship training.
Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
Train or arrange for training.
Prepare bids.
Manage the company.
Estimate costs and materials.
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
Recommend personnel actions.
Establish methods to meet work schedules.
Read blueprints and drawings.
Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.

Qualifications:

Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Certification in a mechanical trade is considered an asset.
5+ years working experience as a general foreman or supervisor.
