We are currently looking for a Permanent Full Time Banquet Manager to be the leader of Kelowna's Best Conference Team.
General Responsibilities:
- Manage, lead, hire, train, schedule, motivate and supervise banquet staff and ensure high quality standards are maintained and exceeded and that excellent service is provided to all of our guests.
- This is a working manager position so setup, service and cleanup of events are required.
- Be organized, efficient and have great attention to detail.
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
- Lead by example with a hard work ethic, appearance and professionalism.
- Other Duties as required
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role in the food and beverage industry (hotel banquet department preferred).
- Be physically fit as required to lift up to 50 lbs and able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Must hold a valid Serving it right certificate.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Microsoft office knowledge and use
- Required to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
