Pelican International is looking for a Trade Marketing Coordinator (B2B) for a one year contract. As a Trade Marketing Coordinator you're responsible for supporting the development and execution of trade marketing programs.

In this role, you will work closely with the Trade Marketing, Sales and GTM Marketing teams to develop and execute programs that increase brand awareness, support our sales team and generate sales at the point of purchase and at our retailers.


A TYPICAL DAY AS A TRADE MARKETING COORDINATOR IS:

  • You oversee and follow up on various trade marketing specific projects; such as annual packaging creation/revision, Bynder document management, content update, enhanced content texts and images, retail newsletters, etc;
  • You manage all reservations and coordinate with suppliers for all trade and consumer marketing shows. (Booth, transport, electricity, hotels, payment due dates and may include travel accommodations for onsite personnel);
  • You support the Trade Marketing department in the development of sales collateral, promotional materials, and other marketing materials as needed;
  • You establish and communicate procedures for events, personnel training preshow and postshow summaries;
  • You develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers to ensure effective execution of trade marketing programs
You will do this, for all of our brands.


WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

You have a minimum of one year of marketing, brand management, trade marketing or similar transferable experience.

You are fluently bilingual and have excellent learning and communication skills in both English and French, as well as the ability to follow up on projects.

You stand out because of your organization, your autonomy and your ability to work in a team.

Finally, you like to take initiative, you have an analytical approach and an ability to establish links based on the data provided.
