Required Qualifications

  • Active member of the Canadian College of Health Information Management at the Certificate level
  • Two years of recent and relevant experience in health information management including coding and abstracting
  • Effective organizational and project management skills
  • Effective interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Effective communication (oral, written, and group facilitation) skills
  • Ability to work in a group setting and as part of a team
  • Understanding and modelling of accurate referencing and copyright processes in all student interactions (handouts, manuals, power points, design and marking of assignments, etc.)
  • Preference will be given to current Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty
  • Demonstrates valuing diversity
