Adecco is currently in search of a Instrumentation Tech to join our client, a distinguished integrated oil and natural gas company based in Fort McMurray, AB.

Monday to Friday | 40 hours/week
Full-time | Long term contract
Provide technical support to operations & maintenance during troubleshooting activities to recover plant production, as required
Review equipment test results and advise on the frequency & scope of maintenance activities or if repairs / replacements/equipment upgrades are needed
Participate in risk analysis work activities, develop engineering solutions for various plant issues
Complete instrumentation engineering work packages for equipment reliability improvements.
Prepare high quality (technically sound, timely, complete and cost effective etc.) Prepare detailed design, supply, construction and installation specifications
Check vendor drawings and data for compliance with specifications
Analyze instrumentation equipment data & historical failure information to produce equipment end of life strategies and obsolescence plans, or produce equipment failure reports
Lead or provide technical support during incident investigations
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering from a Canadian University or equivalent as recognized by APEGA; or Instrumentation Engineering Technologist diploma.
Minimum 1-3 years of Instrumentation & Electrical Technician experience in Oil & Gas industry is required.Experience in completing engineering work packages.
Must be local to Fort McMurray area or willing to relocate. (This is not camp based or FIFO role)
