Description
PGi is looking for a Support Specialist to join our team.

The Support Specialist will work directly with our clients to assist them in processing pay, answering questions and resolving challenges.


Responsibilities

  • Manage biweekly/semimonthly/monthly payroll processes; prepare payroll submissions for premium service clients, and thoroughly review and reconcile changes for these payrolls.
  • Provide consistent quality of customer service and support on PGi's products and services with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Develop strong working relationships with client base, instilling a level of trust and confidence in our clients and their perception of our service team.
  • Improve the knowledge base and training materials to help users.
  • Accurately perform all changes or additions to Company set up with complete follow up to clients, including clear and concise instructions.
  • Learn, understand, maintain and contribute to internal support processes. Proactively seek ways to provide a better service experience for clients, recommending enhancements to products and support processes.
Skills and Qualifications*- Minimum 2 Years experience in Canadian payroll

  • US payroll is a plus
  • Payroll Designation (PCP/CPM) required
  • Determination to learn and develop continually as the business grows
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, must be able to multifunction, handling highpriority issued, and communicating internally in a timely manner
  • Selfstarter, ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Takes initiative, is a decisive decisionmaker and show confidence in decisions made
  • Prioritize workload while maintaining an effective balance between client inquiries, projects and client followup.
  • Superior communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills in the English language
  • Written and verbal skills in the French language is a plus
