    Unit Summary

    Financial Services is responsible for Corporate Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Position Summary

    Acting as an ambassador for the mission, vision, values and goals of the Finance Department the Junior Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the AP vendor database, the TEM database for employee expense reimbursements, and the signing authority tables. This role also includes handling AP related inquiries from internal staff and external vendors in a timely manner.

    The individual will also be responsible for processing journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining appropriate supporting documentation. This position is also responsible providing support to the AP Senior Analyst with tasks as may be required to address customer service needs, process-related issues, and departmental objectives.

    Schedule Work Hours

    Monday to Friday; days

    This position is temporary until August 2025.

    Qualifications

    1. Post-secondary certificate in Business or Accounting or a minimum of two years of accounting experience
    2. Intermediate or better computer skills - use of Microsoft Access, Excel and Word
    3. Demonstrated Meditech knowledge and skills an asset
    4. Demonstrated experience in specific role accountabilities
    5. Demonstrated experience and ability in financial analysis
    6. Exceptional Customer Service skills
    7. Hospital experience an asset
