As the Treasurer, you will be responsible for managing the oversight of financial activities of our organization, by reporting on the monthly financial condition of the organization and monitoring accounts and transactions for trends, risks, and opportunities.

• The Treasurer shall chair the Finance Committee.
• He/she shall submit to the annual meeting a statement of the financial condition of this Organization.
• Works with the Bookkeeper and the Co-Executive Directors to review and monitor statements of the organization's accounts and such other statements as may be requested.
• Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies or errors
• Member of the Executive Committee.
• Signing Officer contracts/cheques

• A demonstrated commitment to the goals and objectives of the organization.
• A record of having supported organizations through financial and/or time contributions
• A record of experience as a volunteer leader.
• A willingness to expand knowledge of board and chair responsibilities through ongoing education.
• An understanding of and/or willingness to learn about financial management.
• A willingness and ability to represent the agency in the community.
• Three (3) to nine (9) hours per month.
