    Description

    ELECTRICAL AND CONTROLS ENGINEER/DESIGNER

    Firebridge offers comprehensive solutions for smart combustion designed to boost energy efficiency, productivity, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We are in need of an Electrical and Controls Engineer/Designer to join our team and contribute to our projects.

    What You'll Do:

    • Work under the head of Engineering to complete electrical designs, controls engineering, and PLC programming for combustion processes.
    • Utilize your creativity and PLC programming skills to contribute to the development of advanced combustion controls.
    • Ensure electrical CAD designs are manufacturable without interferences.
    • Create user-friendly HMI interfaces and robust controls for client projects.
    • Engage in continuous learning and skills development.
    • Provide on-site support during testing, erection, and commissioning.

    What You Offer:

    • 5-10+ years of experience in Electrical and Controls Engineering/Design with relevant qualifications.
    • Familiarity with industrial combustion systems such as boilers, furnaces, and kilns.
    • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to multitask effectively.
    • Technical proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, Solidworks Electrical, Microsoft Office, Excel VBA, and PLC programming.

    Other Requirements:

    • Compliance with corporate standards.
    • Willingness to travel occasionally.
    • Eligibility to work in Canada and the USA.
