    Job Description




    • Overall Management responsibility for the Shipping Office, Shipping and Receiving, Incoming and Customer Service Inspection, Assembly OE Stores and Raw Material Stores.
    • Responsible for all ITAR related shipments and Controlled Goods with all applicable Customs Documentation.
    • Responsible for all related KPI's and the management of inventory thru cycle counts including offsite warehouses.
    • Initiate and adhere to budgets - operating costs, capital etc.
    • Liaise with internal and external customers/suppliers as required.
    • Improve efficiencies utilizing advanced continuous improvement skills working towards a modernized state of the art operation.
    • Develop teamwork and improve motivation thru Daily Communication meetings.
    • Ensure all personnel receive appropriate and effective training (example - SAP, Crane and Fork Lift).
    • Ensure Health and Safety Requirements are maintained.
    • Ensure Team Compliance to company rules, procedures, Collective Agreement and Employment Standards Act.
    • Involved in analysis, ordering and storage of packaging materials for all WIP and finished product moving through Shipping and Receiving.

    Job Requirements




    • Knowledge of Lean Principles and Techniques, Management and Leadership experience in motivating staff and fostering team building required.
    • Must possess problem-solving skills and have the ability to be proactive and innovative in approach.
    • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and a vast and in-depth working level knowledge of SAP recommended.
    • Detailed understanding of shop floor control systems, results driven, excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Clear vision on a modernized logistical operation and the ability to transform that vision into reality.
    • University Degree or College Diploma in Operations/Logistics Management.
    • Minimum five years in Logistics environment.
    • Familiarity with aerospace components, manufacturing processing and quality control. In depth knowledge of world-class logistical solutions.
    • Actively be involved in any Health, Safety and Environment initiatives as HS&E is every employee's responsibilities.
