This role is a hybrid work arrangement. Work schedule to be discussed with Hiring Manager according to the guidelines defined by the department.

Your role

This position is responsible for the following functions:

  • Act as liaison and manage all T&I activities related to requisitions and managing contracts with our vendors as well as our internal partners (Procurement, Legal Services, Finance, etc.). Work with confidential and sensitive information pertaining to budget matters, financial impacts and the organization's technology strategy.
  • Oversee the team in charge of endtoend contract administration for T&I. This team is the intermediary between T&I managers and Procurement, Legal and Finance with regard to contracting and constitutes their single point of contact for all related queries. The team's activities include receiving and processing requests regarding contract signatures or renewals, monitoring the renewals dashboard and following up on all required steps (including legal review, vendor communications, the involvement of Finance, and archiving). The Team Lead acts as secondlevel support, intervening as needed when issues arise or to explain to Finance partners complex situations requiring approvals for exceptions.
  • Manage the department's daytoday contract management activities, set priorities and provide specialized operational coordination. Supervise the team of coordinators and ensure the harmonization of processes across T&I departments.
  • Supervise the tracking, forecasting, reporting and administration of all T&I contracts. Meet with managers to review budget estimates and spending, monitor variances and resolve issues with partners.
  • Provide T&I leadership with expert advice to support decisionmaking. Suggest opportunities for improving contract management and offer guidance as needed on the processes to follow based on a given set of considerations (contract type, value, etc.). See to it that the right actions are taken to ensure that all contracts are processed in keeping with corporate policies.
  • Coordinate with Finance to include the impact of contracts on monthly yearend projections as well as on monthly and annual expenditure reports. Help prepare and analyze annual fiscal business plans.
  • Assume a key role in strategic positioning during contract and licensing negotiations and take proactive steps to achieve economies of scale.
  • Approve expenses and contract/service payments.
  • Develop and draft bid solicitations with managers. Participate in the evaluation process. Coordinate the publication and distribution of bid solicitations. Act as the sole point of contact with partners to ensure that the rules are observed as established and deadlines are met.
  • Review and resolve issues involving overall operational and administrative efficiency in relation to contract management.
  • Serve as the liaison with external vendors and senior management as needed.
  • Oversee the timely renewal of maintenance contracts (track renewal dates, doublecheck amounts billed, etc.). This task calls for rigorous monitoring and is associated with a high level of risk. Failure to monitor could lead to situations with financial and user
