KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The key responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Clerk include but are not limited to:


  • Invoice accounts such as: FIT's tours, Lufthansa Airlines
  • Upon verification, transfer the accounts from Front Office Transfer Data to their appropriate Accounts Receivable Accounts.
  • Handle guests, clients, and customer inquiries and make adjustments where necessary
  • Prepare and post Advanced Deposits on a weeklybasis.
  • Prepare and send out weekly billings for certain accounts.
  • Process credit card payments for business accounts
  • Assist and work closely with Credit Manager
  • Relieve General Cashier when required
  • Process Travel Agent Commission and Print Cheques
  • Research and reply to Travel Agent Commission enquiries.
  • Perform other accounting related duties as required

Qualifications and Technical Experience:

A minimum of three (3) years hotel guest service front desk experience in a high-volume environment within the Luxury hotels industry is required;:

Hospitality related education is required;:

-
Two (2) years or more Hotel accounts receivable/billing experience preferred

Working knowledge of Opera PMS and Silverware POS required
:

-
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
:

-
Oracle Accounting software experience is an asset
:

-
Must possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, time management with an ability to multitask & meet deadlines in a high-pressure work environment
:


  • Proven written, verbal, and customer service communication skills.
  • Other accounting related experience and/or education is an asset.
