Description
Greet customers in person or phone and help meet their needs

  • Sell merchandise or offer alternatives if stock is unavailable
  • Process payments (cash, cheques, direct debit, charge); count and balance tills at the end of the day
  • Maintain current knowledge of products
  • Operate a computerized inventory system
  • Estimate or quote prices

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Front order desk
  • Weekdays; daytime
  • Extensive computer and phone use, some sitting and standing
  • Fast paced environment

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with fasteners and industrial supplies is required,
    min 1 year experience:
  • Show initiative and have a great attitude
  • Accurate with attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills; maintain professional presentation
  • Excellent time management, problem solving, multitasking and communication skills
  • Teamwork and flexibility
  • Must be able to lift 4050 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Able to work under pressure, with tight timelines

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time


Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
