POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY:
HYBRID DOWNTOWN SALARY 80-85K Toronto Housing and Homeless is looking for a Finance Manager with experience in the Non Profit or Public sector Finance Accounting Permanent Full Time Including Full Benefits matching RRSP
The Finance-Business Manager maintains the integrity of the general ledger for the shelters and social enterprise programs in the Housing and Homeless Supports.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Written and Verbal Communication:
- Develop and document business requirements, process, and financial reports on a regular basis
- Develop and document options and recommendations to financial issues and problems
- Support key stakeholders in understanding the implications of options and decisions
Reporting:
- Reports to the Executive Director
CRITICAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
- Works directly with the Shelters and Social Enterprise programs in Housing and Homeless Support.
- Works directly with the Assistant Executive Director, Director of Human Relations, Human Relations Advisor and Gateway Linens Manager.
- Works with Payroll, THQ, DHQ and funders.
- Maintains line of communication between Executive Director, Shelters, Departments, Supervisors and Employees.
MANAGERIAL/TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY:
- Reports directly to the Executive Director
FINANCIAL AND MATERIALS MANAGEMENT:
- Reviews, approves, and analyzes financial statements and financial results.
- Reviews all financial records.
- Assists with the preparation of yearly budgets for all funding bodies.
- Assists with the monitoring of financial expenditures as per yearly budget projections.
- Oversee Travel and Expense Management (TEM) for all Toronto Housing and Homeless Supports units.
- Oversee Staples Business Account.
- Reviews UltiPro payroll entries.
- Reviews Gateway Linens accounts receivable.
- Reviews personal employee reimbursements.
- Performs any other duties as required by the Ministry Unit.
- Active member of the Senior Leadership Team and attend all meetings.
- Participates in the planning, developing, and executing of the strategic plan; ensures the Unit follows ORG Operating Policies, Accreditation Standards and Review Procedures, legislative requirements, and funding expectations.
- Ensures the implementation of all policies concerning incoming/outgoing correspondence.
- Supervises and ensures the input of financial information into Business World.
- Other duties as required.
