- Coordinate timely completion of monthly, mid-year, and year-end financial reports based on the Companys financial calendar.
- Oversee all areas that influence financial control of the companys assets such as credit approvals, collections, customer communications, cash flow, vendor relations, AR, and AP.
- Manage, mentor, and coordinate accounting team activities to achieve timely and accurate account processing, postings, and reconciliations.
- Implement procedures for accurate inventory system reporting.
- Be involved in leadership conversations and work surrounding annual business plans, budgets, and analysis to recommend and lead decisions necessary to meet profitability objectives.
- Post-Secondary Education in Business with a preference in Accounting and Finance.
- Canadian CPA Designation.
- 5+ years Canadian experience leading an accounting department in a related role.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing environment is considered a strong asset.

The Controller plays an important role in financial reporting and business operations as well as a key member of the management team. Overseeing the Administration and Accounting Department, the successful candidate works closely with management to plan, direct, and coordinate all company accounting operational functions.
