Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting and contributing to the Undergraduate Recruitment strategy at
Carleton University.

Works with the Director to continue to strengthen relationships with on and off campus stakeholders while promoting programs and services at Carleton University.

Mentors, manages and coaches the recruitment officers, Event Coordinator, Campus Tour Coordinator and Manager of High School Outreach to reach Undergraduate Recruitment objectives.


Qualifications:


The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:

  • Knowledge of leadership practices in people management, strategic planning and risk management, policy development, financial management and stakeholder relationship management
  • Issues and trends at Carleton and in the higher education sector related to recruitment
  • Contemporary best practices in recruitment management programs, service delivery models and enabling technologies
  • Knowledge is deployed to develop and lead a major functional area within the university

Education and Experience:

The above is normally acquired through the completion of:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Minimum of seven years of previous experience in the related field
  • At least 4 years of supervisory experience
