ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Under the direction of the Manager, Merchandise and Planning, the position of Replenishment Analyst is to manage the by-store inventory investment while accurately flowing stock to the stores in a timely and effective manner.

This position is responsible for the financial performance of all categories (Sales, Gross Margin and Turnover).

Ensure collections are launched in store & online with excellence in a timely manner

Manage inventory flow by district, store while taking into consideration store size, climate, seasonality, capacity, etc.

Proactively plan, react, communicate, and take appropriate action to meet and exceed sales and margin budgets.


Assist with the implementation and management of store assortments through a strong partnership with the buying team, using store clusters (to include store size, climate, seasonality, capacity, etc.) to maximize full-price sell thru and turns.

Analyze, monitor and recap core item performance and inventory levels on a weekly basis, minimize out of stocks.

Provide quantitative analysis to support planning, buying and store planning decisions both preseason and in-season.

Identify and assess the organizational impact of any product or policy changes

Support stores & ecommerce with product/collection knowledge.

Monitor, measure and analyze collection performance

Create and organize distribution of collection preview/look books for retail.

Create best sellers sheet displaying seasonal data of sell thru information.

Liaise with inter-departments to achieve business objectives

Provides weekly reporting for & HBC

Create monthly feedback reports on the most recent deliveries based on field reports. Highlight areas for improvement and identify successes with reasons for their success.

Reviews the previous week's business and formulates decisions

Provides analysis for both fast and slow sellers to enable development of a strong departmental strategy

Identifies fast selling items and makes recommendations to continue the trend and the sales

Ensures quantities purchased reflect the integrity of the collection for all store and select store buys through defined allocations, also meeting promotional requirements

Displays initiative in team projects

Communicates effectively with all internal team members to ensure successful execution of merchandise strategies

Ensures system pricing is reflective of markdown decisions

Maintains awareness of the merchandise plans, particularly sales, mark-downs, and gross margin targets, which are consistent with the financial merchandise goals of the company

Enters all promotional and permanent markdowns in POS on a timely basis

Follows up on daily special requests from stores

Creates styles in merchandising system

Backs up the process of entering retail orders into system


Under the direction of the Manager, Merchandise and Planning, performs / completes other additional project, duties, and assignments as required and/or by request.


COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES, TRAITS) AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced Excel

Excellent written and communication skills

Undergraduate degree in business or a related field of study preferred

3-5 years of experience in allocation and / or merchandising support

Knowledge of merchandise trends and their financial implications

Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to work within a strong team environment

Numerical and analytical skills in a specialty apparel retail environment

Top notch time management and organizational skills, combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong analytical thinker, process focused, and detail oriented

Excellent customer service approach with both internal and external partners

Strong multi-tasking skills in a changing environment

Team player, with an ability to work independently

Knowledge of NetSuite ERP system a benefit
