Acara Solutions is looking for Production Workers for a large Bakery in Hamilton.

Direct hire opportunity with fulltime benefits.

- $ $1.00 rotational shift bonus. $20.05/hr 40 hours a week.

Longterm placement with a $2,500 signing bonus.
Pension is available within this unionized environment.
Must be able to lift up to 3040 pounds while working and be flexible to work rotational shifts. The bakery operators 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Position Summary:

Machine Operators operate at least one and, possibly, a variety of machines depending on the type of product being produced and/or work being performed in a bakery setting.

Position Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and adjust baking machines
Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to ensure correct processing
Prepare products for distributions (may include wrapping, packaging, shipping)
Check product quality and adjust as necessary
Clean and sanitize machinery, equipment and main processing area
Maintain shift logs and record of other data
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, Company Joint Health & Safety Programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices
Actively participate in, and report all Health & Safety/Quality issues to Shift Supervisor/QA
