SSR Mining - Seabee Gold Operation is hiring for a Supervisor, Mine Operations.

About Your New Role:

Reporting to the General Foreman, Mine Operations, the Supervisor, Mine Operations, is responsible for and accountable for managing the activities of the underground mine crews in terms of compliance to all legislative, safety, health, and environmental requirements, as well as working to achieve daily production targets.

You will have excellent organizational and communication skills that allow you to interact with staff and contractors at all levels and help you to lead a motivated and dynamic workforce.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and direct underground mine personnel.
Prepare daily reports.
Oversee drilling and blasting.
Lead, organize and direct daytoday underground development and production work according to schedule.
Ensure that employees are provided with all the necessary tools required to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
Train employees and other duties and responsibilities as required.

Your Knowledge and Skills:

Extensive knowledge of underground gold mining.
Functional knowledge of mining and processing operations.
Interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
Communication skills both verbally and written.
Strong leadership, management, and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team in a rapidly changing environment.

Your Education and Experience:

Minimum three (3) years' experience in an underground mining operation.
Supervisor experience

About Our Working Conditions:

This position has a schedule of two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off at our remote camp in northern Saskatchewan, working 12-hour days with possibility of unscheduled overtime required on occasion.

You will be required to fly in fly out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert or La Ronge.
