As the Facility Maintenance Coordinator, you will perform skilled maintenance and repairs at several locations within HRM and Bridgewater. Duties fall into a number of trades including, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and HVAC.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in a construction environment
Strong carpentry skills
Attention to detail
Valid drivers license
Record keeping
Customer service

What you will be doing

Performing preventative maintenance on building systems
Maintaining and repairing facility structures and components including door hardware, fans, lights, safety equipment and sensors
Troubleshooting equipment issues and determining when external support is required
Maintaining appropriate records including, monitoring, updating and closing work orders
