The Position:


What You'll Do:


  • Develop and manage fullcycle recruitment
  • Coach and assist departmental managers and staff on the interpretation and administration of policies, programs and best practices.
  • Adhere to legislation such as the Human Rights Act and Labour Standards Act.
  • Advise managers on organizational matters such as discrimination, discipline, harassment, etc.
  • Maintain a sustainable relationship with union officials
  • Plan and organize staff events and recreational activities.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.

What You'll Bring:


  • CHRP designation preferred.
  • Post Secondary diploma in (Human Resources Management).
  • University degree in Business Management or Labour Relations preferred.
  • Experienced working in a unionized environment.
  • 35 years' Human Resources experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, individually and as part of a team.
  • Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
