We're now recruiting an experienced and motivated
Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the team on a permanent
full-time basis.
The person we are looking for has a strong ability to multi-task, is highly organized and has a drive to ensure consistent accuracy will be applied and prioritized on all accounts worked on.
The office is conveniently located within the Yonge & Sheppard Centre office tower in Greater Toronto, steps away from to the Sheppard subway station. This is an on-site position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take charge of the vendor relationship.
- Communicate across all levels of the business, including externally to vendors.
- Credit card reconciliations
- Assist in cheque runs and process EFT payment
- Post journal entries and assist with the completion of vendor reconciliations and analysis
- Assist with lease administration and managing insurance claim
- Process Monthly Rent invoices in Microsoft Dynamics
- Provide timely and accurate analysis of monthend journal entries.
- Responsible for timely monthend closing of AP module and the reconciliation of related account
- Assist with audit schedule
- Act as backup to support other areas of the Accounting Team
- Performs additional duties, as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a similar position
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience in handling a large volume of data
- Sound knowledge and ability in accounting practices and procedure
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong relationship building and people skill
- Works well in a team environment with the Finance and other departments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with internal and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to effectively manage fluctuating workload, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of Coupa would be an asset
