ANTHILL STUDIO LTD. designs and manufactures furniture, millwork and interior spaces.
***: We are looking for a Shop Foreman/woman to join our team, to assist in the daily management of our production including all aspects of inventory, scheduling, quality control and scheduling.
TASKS:
- Daily management of production
- Quality control of all products and materials
- Ordering & Organizing job specific materials and managing inventory
- Upholding safety requirements within the workshop
- Review all drawings an consult with Design Team & CNC Programmer
- Manage production and installation schedules
- Schedule, perform and manage shop maintenance and organization
- Assembling & Building products and millwork
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Red Seal certification or equivalent experience is a requirement
- Ability to read and shop drawings and design plans
- Excellent organization, documentation and communication skills
- An acute attention to detail along with an appreciation for details
- Excellent analytical, decisionmaking and problem solving skills
- Proficient and patient teaching abilities
- Ability to work proficiently with computers, including Excel/Numbers software
- Previous Shop Management experience is an asset
- Cabinetry & Millwork Installation experience is an asset
- BC Drivers Licence is an asset
Salary:
$30.00-$45.00 per hour
